Masterchef 2022

I used to watch Masterchef religiously when it first came out, but I haven’t really tuned in for a few years.

But as I’m a bit of a sucker for reality TV, I do keep one eye on what’s happening. So when the ads came out for this season, I saw there was a competitor from Perth who has coeliac disease! To the best of my knowledge, this is a first. So it will be interesting to see how she goes. Melanie was diagnosed 5 years ago and is a self-taught cook who has lived in Japan and Italy and is currently undertaking a PHD in literature.
